The Heroes of Diplomacy is a video series produced by the Foreign Service Institute that raises awareness about diplomacy in an effort to advance the interest of the general public and educate the shared histories of foreign service professionals.
“Partners in Diplomacy” is a Cox-supported podcast produced by the Association for Diplomatic Studies and Training. This podcast series explores the life and stories of the families of Foreign Service members, designed to educate and engage listeners about the contributions of Foreign Service spouses have made to U.S. diplomacy.
“The General and the Ambassador: A Conversation” is a podcast series that brings together outstanding diplomatic and military collaborators to recount stories of representing and defending U.S. interests abroad. The host, Ambassador (ret.) Deborah McCarthy brings these stories to listeners in thirty-minute episodes.
Oral Histories Highlight: Diverse Diplomacy Speaker Series
DDSS Honored with SFS DEI Award
The Cox Foundation supported the Diverse Diplomacy Speaker Series, a video series produced by the Institute for the Study of Diplomacy at Georgetown University. Their efforts to showcase diverse representation in the Foreign Service community was recently honored with the 2024 School of Foreign Service Award for Excellence in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, which recognizes those who promote fairness and increase involvement by underrepresented groups in global affairs.

AFSA's Diplomats @ Work Video Series
The Cox Foundation currently supports the American Foreign Service Association in their production of the Diplomats @ Work virtual series. This series is focused on telling inspiring stories about the Foreign Service and its officers, including introducing audiences to different Foreign Service occupations.
