Whether you prefer jazz ensembles or mariachi bands, the United States and Mexico each have rich and vibrant cultures. Across Mexico we help foster appreciation for the diversity that enriches both our countries. From string quartets to art classes, our cultural programs bring the American experience to Mexicans in towns small and large across the country. Our museum exchanges help bring Mexican masterpieces to the United States, and American artwork to Mexico.

On any given day we will sponsor an academic to talk about the challenges of gangs, a journalist who can facilitate a discussion of press freedoms, or a librarian who can offer suggestions on digital information. Our programs usually involve a teaching component so musicians can learn a new riff, small children can paint a wall, or amateur photographers can appreciate their surroundings in a whole new way.

To build friendships and understanding, we invite Mexico’s future business, educational, political and media leaders to visit the United States, meet their counterparts, and introduce them to some of the ideas and opportunities that will inspire shared dreams for years to come.
