As a long day ends we all head home to enjoy the evening with our loved ones and families.

The families of our American staff travel with us, go to Mexican schools, speak Spanish in the supermarket, witness the “Day of the Dead” or carnivale, break a pinata at Christmas, and learn to appreciate good tequila and fine mole.

The families of our Mexican staff hear about our work every day, applaud us when we receive an award, go trick-or-treating at our workplace, and attend the Marine Ball with us every year.

We all appreciate the chance to learn about each other, explore Mexico together, share uniquely Mexican celebrations, practice some slang, and taste some new food.

Together we are proud of the work we do and the contributions we make to friendship between the United States and Mexico.

We are the U.S. Diplomatic Mission in Mexico
