Whether you are a U.S. tourist enjoying a twilight dinner in Puerto Vallarta or a Mexican businessman wrapping up an evening meeting in New York, you are part of a dynamic trade relationship between our two countries. The U.S. and Mexico are important trade partners and form (with Canada) a thriving economic team in the global marketplace thanks to the success of the North American Free Trade Agreement.

Mexico and the United States conduct $1 billion in trade every single day of the year. Many products shipped from North America include component parts made both in the U.S. and Mexico, as well as Canada. Millions of jobs on both sides of the border depend on our trade.

The U.S. Mission in Mexico works closely with American businesses as they invest, produce in or export to Mexico. We organize trade fairs that bring U.S. producers and service providers to Mexico to develop new markets. Through these and other efforts, we generate millions of dollars in new business for U.S. companies large and small every year.
